Residential Burglaries - Freckleton

We would like to make you aware of several reports of residential burglaries in the Freckleton area.

These burglaries occurred on Polperro Drive and Ribble Avenue. 

We believe these happened overnight on 20th January into the 21st January 2026. We do not currently have an exact time however CCTV enquiries are ongoing to try and establish this. 

The offender/offenders have entered via the rear of the properties by causing damage. 

These offences have occurred whilst the residents have not been home.

We will be increasing our visibility overnight in these areas and utilising our powers to stop and search where necessary. 

Please ensure all entry and exit points to your property are locked and secure. 

If you have CCTV or doorbell cameras, please ensure these are charged and in working order. We also advise you to check your footage regularly, particularly for any motion or activity picked up overnight. 

We would like to remind all residents in the area to stay alert and report any ongoing suspicious activity via 999. Or if you have any information or CCTV which you think may be of interest to us, you can contact us via 101 or the online reporting system on Lancashire Police website.
